The Council for World Mission is a worldwide community of Christian churches. The 31 members are committed to sharing their resources of money, people, skills and insights globally to carry out God's mission locally.

about CWM Youth...

The CWM Youth website is for young people from member churches of the Council for World Mission (CWM) to share news and views on issues of common concern.

CWM believes that young people should be at the forefront of mission. That's why it encourages its member churches to develop their youth activities and promote youth leadership.

CWM runs a variety of programmes for young people. Its regional Youth in Mission workcamps focus on issues of concern in each CWM region (such as drugs and homelessness in Europe, etc).

In June 2004 the Global Youth Convention brought over 150 youth from CWM's member churches together to find a response to the challenges of Globalisation.

Training in Mission is a programme that brings young people from CWM churches together for a year of theological study and practical mission work. The aim is to raise up leaders for their home church with a passion for justice and mission.

In 2001, CWM held a Global Youth Forum that set recommendations for church policies and activities for young people.

CWM Youth also has a chat club, where young people from CWM churches can exchange news and views.
